This year, darshan of the grand Ganesha idol will begin from August 27 and devotees will be able to worship here for the entire 11 days. From Ganesh Chaturthi to Anant Chaturdashi, this pandal will be packed with devotees.

How to Reach Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai

1) Metro

If you want to travel fast and comfortably, then Mumbai Metro is the easiest way. Lower Parel Metro Station is the nearest station here. Once you get out of the station, it will not take you much time to reach the pandal.

2) Local train

Mumbai’s local train is called the lifeline of the city and it is also the fastest way to reach here during Ganeshotsav.

  • Devotees coming from Central Line: Chinchpokli station is the nearest station, it is just a 10 min walk from here to Lalbagh.
  • Curry Road Station: Another option on the Central Line, it will take around 15 minutes to reach Pandal from here.
  • Lower Parel Station (Western Line): It is a 20-25 minute walk from here, you can also take an auto or taxi if you want.
  • Devotees coming from CST: Take the Central line from CST and get down at Chinchpokli.

3) Bus service

If you want to travel on a budget-friendly basis, Mumbai’s BEST bus service is a good option. Many routes stop directly near Lalbaug.

Bus No. 124: Runs from Dadar TT to Lalbaug, however due to rush and traffic the bus may take a little longer to reach.

After visiting Lalbaugcha Raja, you can also visit other famous pandals present nearby.

Chinchpokalicha Chintamani

Established since 1920, this mandal is celebrating its 106th Ganeshotsav this year. This pandal is one of the oldest and most popular events in Mumbai. In 2025, the idol of Ganpati Bappa will be decorated on the theme dedicated to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. This idol, about 21–22 feet high, will be a center of attraction for the devotees.

Mumbaicha Raja- Ganesh Gali, Lalbagh

Mumbaicha Raja, located just a few streets away from Lalbaugcha Raja, is also a big centre of faith for devotees. Started in 1928, this pandal is known for its grand themes and temple-like decorations. Every year, a glimpse of different Indian temples can be seen here. In terms of crowd, this pandal gives a tough competition to Lablabaga Raja.
