The curiosity of going to the festival vanishes just by looking at the crowd. Many times, even after booking months in advance, one has to wait for the ticket. In view of this problem, Railways has decided to run special trains on Holi this time.

On the occasion of Holi, some 6 special trains will run from Delhi. Know about them.

Railways is making arrangements to run special trains between New Delhi and Udhampur on the occasion of Holi. Train number 04033 will run from New Delhi on 22 and 29 March. At the same time, train number 04034 will leave from Udhampur for New Delhi on 23 and 30 March. Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt and Jammu Tawi will be the stopping points of this train.

The special train from New Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will run every Wednesday and Sunday between March 24 and 31.

Delhi Junction-Varanasi Holi Special

Arrangements are also being made to run a special train from Delhi Junction to Varanasi on Holi festival . Which will run for three full days a week. It will run from Delhi on Monday, Thursday and Saturday between March 21 and 30. You will be able to travel from Varanasi on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday between 22nd to 31st March.

Holi special train will also be run from Delhi to Tundla, Panipat and Agra Cantt between March 21 and 24.

Holi Special Katra-Varanasi

There are preparations to run a weekly Holi special train from Katra to Varanasi. Which will run from Katra on Sunday and from Varanasi on Tuesday. A special will also be run for those going from Howrah to Banaras. Which will run on 23 March. The stoppages of this train will be Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Arrah, Buxar, Deendayal Upadhyay Junction and Varanasi station.
