A Russian vlogger named Kseniia shared a video of Hyderabad praising the city’s “world-class” infrastructure. The video showed Hyderabad’s skyline, Hi-Tech City and “Dubai-like” views. The video received over 14 lakh likes and sparked a huge debate on social media.
The vlogger showed tall buildings, great restaurants, stable parking, footpaths for walking and less traffic than Bengaluru-Gurugram. The blogger was quite impressed while roaming around Hi-Tech City. She also wrote a text in the video – “Habibi, this is Hyderabad, not Dubai.” The caption read, “I am capturing the sunset in Hi-Tech. But many people have given their different reactions to this video. Let’s know what it is and why this place is worth visiting.

What do people say

Some people felt proud after watching the video. One user wrote, “I feel proud that I was born and brought up in Hyderabad.” However, many people started expressing doubts. Someone said, “This is not the whole of Hyderabad, just one corner.” Another wrote, “This is absolutely wrong, those who live here know how chaotic the city is.”
Some people also pointed out the real problems of the city, like waterlogging and bad drains. Another user wrote, “All the cities of India look like this. They shine in the beginning, then they become hell. More people come for jobs, the roads are filled with traffic, there is water everywhere, drains are clogged, roads are broken, there is no parking space and people do not follow the rules. As long as it looks new, it feels good, then everything gets ruined.”
