This mysterious phenomenon is known as Magnetic Hill , which is located at a height of about 14,000 feet above sea level. Whatever may be the scientific reason, but this place attracts people a lot. How to Reach Magnetic Hill
It is not easy to reach Magnetic Hill, it is located on National Highway 1. It is about 27 km away from Leh city and comes on Srinagar-Highway. To reach here, one has to take a bus or taxi from Leh or Manali. Magnetic Hill is open 24 hours a day, but the experience of feeling its gravity is best between 8 am to 5 pm. The best time to visit here is between June to September.
