Hanuman Chatti

Hanuman Chatti is another famous temple and is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. You can reach here by travelling 36 kms from Barkot. Hanuman Chatti is known for trekking between Yamunotri and Dodi Tal.

April to June is considered the best time to visit Barkot. When the temperature here is such that you can  enjoy roaming around comfortably.

By flight: The nearest airport to reach Barkot is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Barkot is located at a distance of about 150 kilometers from here. Barkot can be reached from the airport by bus or local transport.

By Train: The nearest railway stations to reach Barkot are Dehradun and Rishikesh Junction. You will get local trains for Barkot from the station. 

By Bus: Barkot is well connected by road to all the major cities nearby.
