  • Applicants can also book the application process online through the official Passport Seva website.
  • Log in with your registered ID or you can also choose the ‘Tatkal’ option to get an early appointment.
  • Now choose the date of payment and appointment as per your convenience.
  • Note that a processing fee will be required for lost passports.
  • On the other hand, to get a new passport, the regular process of passport issuance has to be followed.
