Events on the occasion of Ramnavami fair in Ayodhya have been fully eclipsed. The district administration has banned the entry of Ayodhya of pilgrims coming from outside on Ram Navami April 2. Ayodhya DM AK Jha said on Saturday that Saryu Snan has also been banned on the day of Ramnavami. The pilgrims who reach the border of Ayodhya will be returned. DM said that April 2 booking of hotels, Dharamshalas and lodges has also been completely banned.

The impact of the Janata curfew appeal by PM Narendra Modi to tackle the epidemic was reflected in Ayodhya. A day before, suddenly the silence in Ayodhya temples started appearing. Desolation has increased in many temples including the famous temples of the city, Ramjanmabhoomi, Kanak Bhawan, Hanuman Garhi, Dasaratha Mahal Bada Laksha, Shri Ram Ballabhukunj, Janaki Mahal. The mahants of the temples have banned the stay of outsiders. The programs of Ramjanmotsav have been limited. The devotees who have come to Ayodhya earlier have started returning home after darshan. This will be the first time in the history of Ramnagari that devotees will not get the pleasure of seeing their worship on the occasion of Ram Janmotsava. Every year 15 to 20 lakh devotees are coming to this fair. Devotees not seen in Ayodhya temples

Mahant Shashikant Das of Ramkachari temple adjoining Ramjanmabhoomi complex says that after the appeal of PM Narendra Modi, there was a huge decline in the number of devotees in Ramlala on Saturday. Every day 30 to 35 thousand devotees used to visit Ramlala to see the decision, but for the last two days this number has been reduced to a few thousand. According to Ramesh Das and Raju Das, priests of Hanumangarhi Akhara, the premises used to be full in Aarti but only a few people were seen on Saturday. Only security personnel are visible in the entire campus. 22 purification program postponed

The program of purification of Ramlala’s posture in the new Fiber temple on March 22 has also been postponed. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust general secretary Champat Rai said that there is a curfew on the call of the PM in the country. In such a situation no program will be organized. Champat Rai has appealed to the devotees coming to Ram Navami to cooperate in the efforts of the government in avoiding this epidemic and to worship Lord Shree Ram in their homes by not gathering crowds at the fair. There is greater Narayan service than male service.

There will be live broadcasts from major temples
The administration has made arrangements for the live broadcast of Ram Janmotsav to be held on April 2 so that people can enjoy it at their homes. DM Anuj Kumar Jha told that till now only the Ram Janmotsava program of Kanak Bhavan was broadcast live but this year the Ram Janmabhoomi campus will also have a birth anniversary program in the temporary temple of fiber which will also be live from Doordarshan for the first time. Initiatives for broadcasting are being done.
