Rewalsar Lake
Rewalsar Lake, located about 23 km from Mandi, is a common pilgrimage center for Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs. Situated at an altitude of 1360 meters above sea level, this lake is also famous for its floating islands. Which are no longer visible due to many types of construction works and change in climate. Along with the lake there is also a zoo, which is the center of tourist attraction.

Kuntabhayo Lake
It is at a distance of about 6 kms from Rewalsar. The blue-green color of its water will definitely draw you towards it. It is said about the lake that when Mother Kunti was thirsty, the stream emanating from Arjuna’s arrow quenched her thirst. Then that stream gradually took the form of a lake. It is a wonderful feeling to see this lake up close. About a kilometer away from the lake, there are caves on a small hill on the side of the road, which is a sacred place for Buddhist monks to practice. Parashar Lake
Situated in the north-east direction at a distance of 49 km from Mandi, this lake is dedicated to Parashar Rishi. It is believed that it was originated by Parashara Rishi killing his Gur on the ground. As soon as Gurj reached inside the ground, the stream of water erupted and on seeing this water stream took the form of a lake. The presence of a floating circular plot in the middle of the lake further enhances the beauty of the lake. The three-storeyed beautiful temple of Parashar Rishi is built along the lake. There is also a rest house, where you can enjoy these beautiful valleys by staying.

Kamrunag Lake
This lake is 68 kms from Mandi along Mandi-Karsog road. The special thing about this lake is that people throw gold, silver, coins and notes in it after the fulfillment of the vow and darshan of the deity. This custom has been around for centuries. After a steep climb of 6 km from Rohanda on the Mandi-Karsog road, one can see the beautiful lake. This lake is dedicated to the god Kamrunag. It is believed that Dev Kamrunag had incarnated as the mighty King Ratna Yaksha in the next birth.

Sundernagar Lake
This artificial but very beautiful lake is formed due to the water of Beas river brought by tunnel from Pandoh dam constructed by BBMB project. It has a charm of its own. It is located at Sundernagar along Chandigarh-Manali National Highway-21 at a distance of 25 kms from Mandi. 990 MW of electricity is produced from this lake. To look at this lake, which is confined in a circle of two kilometers, is like leaving the fatigue of the day.
