According to the news, the Government of Gujarat has announced the opening of the Statue of Unity for tourists from October 17. This means that tourists can now visit the Statue of Unity. Earlier, in March, the Statue of Unity was completely closed to tourists due to Corona virus epidemic.

Since then, entry of tourists to the Statue of Unity is banned, but now from October 17, tourists can visit the Statue of Unity. For this, the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs will be followed. Also, tourists have to follow the new guidelines. Let us know what are the new rules for Statue of Unity-

According to official information from the government, every day 2500 tourists will be allowed to enter the Statue of Unity. Tourists will be allowed to enter the campus in a phased manner. At every stage, 500 tourists will be able to visit the Statue of Unity.

Of these, 100 (for this special pass will have to be taken) tourists will be allowed to visit the statue complex. While each phase will be of two hours. The first phase will start at 8 am. While the last stage time is kept at 4 pm. Tourists can purchase tickets from the authorized website www.soutickets.in. Manual ticketing facility is not available nor will it be available at the ticket window.

  • It is mandatory for tourists to wear masks. If someone comes without a mask, they will not be allowed to enter the premises.

-Teachers have to take care of physical distance. People of the same family also have to maintain social distance maintenance.

-Statu of Unity has lab facilities. If a person has any problem, he will be given medical help immediately.

  • The person’s body temperature will be measured at the main entrance. If a tourist is found to have high temperatures, he or she will not be allowed to enter.
  • The premises will feature hop on hop off buses. This service will be for tourists.
